We are seeking a friendly and professional Banquet Server to join our hospitality team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service during events and banquets, ensuring a memorable experience for all attendees. Responsibilities
- Serve food and beverages efficiently and courteously during banquets, events, and special functions
- Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including arranging tables, linens, and utensils
- Assist with food preparation and presentation as needed, adhering to food safety standards
- Buss tables promptly and maintain cleanliness throughout the event
- Replenish supplies and ensure all serving areas are well-stocked
- Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service and address any needs or concerns
- Follow all food handling and safety procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators to deliver seamless service experiences
- Assist with breakdown and cleanup after events, ensuring the venue is left in pristine condition
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, catering, or hospitality preferred; banquet experience is a plus
- Strong guest services skills with a focus on hospitality and guest relations
- Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and proper serving techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining professionalism
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required by event schedules
- Experience with bussing, food preparation, or restaurant operations is advantageous
- Prior hotel or coffee service experience is beneficial but not required
