What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacy Clerk position at Wamego Drug Store?
A friendly person with a positive attitude and high level of patient and customer service skills. The individual will be a self-starter that can take care of patients in a kind and efficient manner. The hours can be 8-6 M-F and 830 to 1 every other Saturday, No Sundays or evening hours. If you chose to become a part of our team, in time you will be taking care of your friends, neighbors and relatives.

Abilities and Requirements to Include
- Retail Experience
-Valid Drivers License
- HS Graduate
- Ability to run Pioneer RX software a plus
- Non Smoking workplace
- Ability to work every other Saturday Morning
- Ability to lift 35 pounds regularly
- Greet patients and intake new patient information
- Answer phones, take messages, refill information, etc.
- Place regular and special orders
- Learn patient names
- Check in orders and track outages and shortages
- Be able to handle computerized inventory management
- Be able to keep work area clean
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
