Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced caregiver to provide one-on-one care for an elderly woman with dementia in her home. The ideal candidate is patient, attentive, trustworthy, and passionate about providing high-quality care while preserving dignity and respect.
Responsibilities
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene. Change adult briefs and provide incontinence care. Safely transfer and reposition as needed. Prepare and assist with meals (including pureed foods if needed).
Administer medications according to schedule. Monitor and document blood pressure, blood sugar, temperature, and any changes in condition. Report concerns or emergencies immediately. Assist with feeding and hydration. Perform light housekeeping related to the client's care, including laundry, dishes, and keeping the bedroom and bathroom clean. Help with range-of-motion exercises and mobility. Provide companionship, conversation, and cognitive engagement appropriate for someone living with dementia.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment. Follow the family's care plan and daily routine.
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
