Territory Sales Representative-Austin, TX

Walton Distributing is a 75 year old family business based in Schertz, Texas. We are a highly professional Sales and Distribution company that supplies the automotive industry’s car dealerships, independent shops and franchises with the best quality BG Products and equipment for automotive professionals to perform necessary fluid maintenance to their customer’s vehicles.

Job Purpose

The Sales Representative will initiate, build, and support successful relationships with customers. He/she will develop maintenance programs within new car dealerships, independent repair facilities, and fleets within their given territory while maintaining quota. This position is for North Austin and surrounding areas.

Duties & Responsibilities

· Adheres to company policies and presents a professional, positive attitude at all times.

· Contact current or potential customers to establish a BG maintenance program.

· Deliver promotional presentations to current or prospective customers.

· Conduct ongoing training within current accounts in order to further their maintenance success.

· Attend BGU and demonstrate credible knowledge of BG products and services.

· Gather customer or product information to determine customer needs.

· Advise and recommend products or services to customers.

· Implement new products and programs within accounts.

· Record and deliver inventory to customers.

· Maintain record of customer accounts.

· Maintain records of sales or other business transactions.

· Support accounts with inventory, technical assistance, and equipment maintenance.

· Assist in the training of Walton Distributing staff.

· Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

· High school diploma or GED required.

· Two years or more of sales experience (preferred but not required)

· Two years or more of automotive experience (preferred but not required)

· Must have a valid driver's license

Working Conditions

Working in repair facilities within dealerships, independent garages, and fleets, both indoor and outdoor environments wearing PPE as appropriate. This position requires daily travel in the assigned market or area. The ability to life 40-60 lbs repeatedly.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
