About the Role

Walton & Company is currently seeking a reliable, safety-conscious CDL Driver (Class A or B) to support our warehouse and construction operations. This role plays a vital part in our logistics chain by ensuring timely delivery and pick-up of materials from our warehouse to job sites and vendor locations.

You will be responsible for driving a 26' stake body and/or box truck, conducting pre/post trip inspections, loading and unloading cargo, and assisting with various warehouse duties. This is a hands-on, active role that requires dependability, physical stamina, and a can-do attitude.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 26' truck to deliver and pick up job materials.

• Load and unload cargo at the warehouse, job sites, and vendor locations.

• Conduct and document vehicle and cargo inspections.

• Operate forklifts and warehouse tools (e.g., pipe/thread cutters, lumber saws).

• Assist with stocking shelves, maintaining inventory, and site/property clean-up.

• Perform general warehouse and property maintenance tasks.

• Follow all DOT regulations and Walton's Driver Safety Policy.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.

• Valid CDL Class A or B license with a clean driving record.

• Current DOT medical card and forklift certification.

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience operating commercial motor vehicles.

• Must be 21 years or older.

• Physically able to lift at least 50 pounds and navigate construction sites safely.

• Must read, write, and speak English fluently.
