Education, Training and Experience:
- Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
- Licensure from the Massachusetts Department of Education as a School Psychologist..
- Demonstrated subject matter competence, highly qualified, in the area of licensure.
Knowledge Required:
- Currency in diagnostic and prescriptive evaluation instruments and techniques..
- Effective presentation of findings orally and in writing.
Abilities Required:
- Ability to evaluate students of all ages.
- Ability to administer required student testing and assessments.
Skills Required:
- Effective testing management skills.
- Excellent listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.
Supervision:
Supervised by principal and/or director.

Salary: As per the WEA contract.
- Ensure strict adherence to all state and federal regulatory timelines for completing and filing student evaluation reports.
- Maintain precise and organized assessment records to support accurate data reporting for state requirements and IEP development.
- Participate in IEP team meetings specifically for the purpose of interpreting and presenting evaluation data and testing findings to support placement and service decisions.
- Oversee the security, organization, and inventory maintenance of all diagnostic assessment kits and confidential testing protocols.
