Established Structural Steel Fabricator is expanding their operations to Fredericktown Missouri and looking for an experienced Steel Fabrication Shop Manager.
Full Time Positions Available:
Shop Manager
Working Hours:
7AM to 3:30 PM CST
Overtime and weekends as required by project schedules.
Education:
High School diploma or GED
Trade School a plus
Skills:
· 5 years experience in welding / fabrication experience using FCAW (Flux Cored Arc Welding) TIG experience a plus.
· Knowledge of fabrication equipment.
· Ability to read blueprints with general knowledge of welding symbols.
· Strong math background.
· Able to follow instructions.
· Good communication skills.
· Problem solving capabilities.
· Good housekeeping skills.
· Stainless steel welding experience a plus
Requirements:
·CWI cert is a plus
·Ensure current drawing log and prints are in use.
·Work with others to ensure a quality product is produced.
·Dimensionally QC fabrications.
·Ensure consumables are adequately stocked
·Organize and schedule deliveries.
·Interview new employees.
·Ensure shop is clean and safe.
· Punctual work hour attendance.
· Dependable Transportation.
Job Description:
Successful candidate will work with upper management to ensure a quality product is produced and schedules are met. Must have 5 years of prior management experience.
Pay:
$25 based on experience.
Annual review with opportunity for pay increase based on performance.
