This is a full-time on-site role located in the Greenville-Spartanburg-Anderson, South Carolina Area. The CNC Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce precision parts and components. Daily responsibilities include interpreting blueprints, setting up machinery, monitoring equipment during operation, performing quality inspections, and adhering to safety standards. Collaboration with team members and other departments to meet production goals is a key aspect of the position.
- Experience in operating and programming CNC machines and a solid understanding of machining processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Competence in using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers for quality control.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines in a manufacturing environment.
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and manage physical tasks in a manufacturing setting.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or machining environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; vocational or technical certification in CNC machining is an advantage.
