Position Summary
The Mercedes-Benz Service Greeter is an entry level, customer facing role that welcomes guests to the service drive, provides friendly guidance, and connects them with the right Service Advisor. You help keep the service drive organized, answer general questions, and move guest vehicles as needed to parking, the shop, or the car wash.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet every guest in the service drive and confirm appointment or walk-in details
- Direct guests to the correct Service Advisor and offer water or lounge seating
- Keep the drive tidy and safe by guiding traffic, placing cones, and monitoring flow
- Answer common questions about hours, basic services, amenities, and status updates
- Move guest vehicles carefully to and from the service drive, parking areas, shop, and wash bay
- Support advisors with light tasks such as printing repair orders, fetching keys, and updating notes
- Follow dealership safety practices and use care with high-line vehicles at all times
Qualifications
- Friendly, professional communicator who enjoys helping people
- Customer service experience in auto, retail, hospitality, or similar
- Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods and working outdoors
- Able to multitask and shift priorities during busy times
- Flexible availability, including some evenings and weekends
- Valid California driver license with a clean DMV record
- Able to pass a background check and drug screening
