Mechanical Senior Engineer I/ II - MEP Infrastructure

Responsibilities

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a Mechanical Engineering graduate with a strong background in MEP design and site coordination. This role demands technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to manage complex infrastructure projects from concept to execution.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end MEP Infrastructure design and execution, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
• Coordinate effectively with clients, vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
• Conduct and manage client and vendor meetings, ensuring alignment across all parties.
• Ensure compliance with EC norms, MOEF guidelines, local CFO requirements, NBC 2016, IS codes, and relevant international standards.
• Drive sustainable MEP solutions and contribute to cost estimation and budgeting.
• Review and vet contractor shop drawings and as-built documentation.
• Oversee site inspections, material submittal approvals, and system commissioning processes.
• Perform technical due diligence for large land parcels and prepare detailed reports.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 10–12 years of proven experience in MEP Infrastructure design and site coordination.
• Minimum 6–8 years of experience with design consultants and 4–5 years in project execution.
• Strong knowledge of water distribution networks, WTP, STPs, SWD, RWH systems, etc., from concept to GFC stages.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; familiarity with BIM 360, WaterGEM, and similar tools is a plus.
• Sound understanding of MEP design standards and installation practices.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills with internal teams (architecture, structural, civil, landscape) and external stakeholders.
• A proactive team player with leadership capabilities and a solution-oriented mindset.
