Key Responsibilities:
Safely deliver floral arrangements, plants, and retail products to customers.
Load, unload, and handle delicate floral items with care.
Plan and optimize delivery routes for efficiency and timeliness.
Use GPS navigation to ensure accurate deliveries.
Verify orders, invoices, and special instructions for accuracy.
Maintain the delivery vehicle and report any issues promptly.
Assist in packaging, labeling, and organizing floral arrangements as needed.
Provide friendly and professional customer service upon delivery.
Keep the delivery vehicle clean and stocked with essential supplies.
Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies.
Use a personal cell phone to log deliveries and notify recipients (reimbursement provided).
Assist with in-store operations and tasks as requested by store managers.
What We’re Looking For:
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (MO Class E Chauffeur License or equivalent required).
Prior experience as a delivery driver, 2 or more years driving company vehicles is a big plus.
Strong knowledge of local streets and traffic patterns.
Excellent customer service and communication skills. (you have to have a smile)
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, with most deliveries weighing under 15 pounds.
Detail-oriented with strong time management and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays (Saturdays are our busiest day).
Willingness to help with additional shop duties beyond driving.
