Job Overview: As a Workers' Compensation Case Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting individuals who have suffered injuries at their workplace. Your primary objective will be to ensure that these workers receive the appropriate medical care, benefits, and support they need to recover and, when possible, return to work. This position requires a blend of healthcare knowledge, understanding of workers' compensation laws, and exceptional interpersonal skills to navigate the complexities of each case effectively.
Key Responsibilities (Include But Are Not Limited To):

- Manage assigned workers’ compensation cases from intake to closure
- Maintain regular communication with clients, attorneys, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and defense counsel
- Monitor deadlines, hearings, medical appointments, and case developments
- Request and review medical records, reports, and supporting documentation
- Prepare correspondence, case updates, and status reports
- Assist with settlement preparation and litigation support as needed
- Update case management systems accurately and timely
- Ensure files are organized and compliant with firm procedures
- Coordinate with internal departments to facilitate efficient case progression
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Workers' Compensation law firm
- Knowledge of workers’ compensation procedures, terminology, and deadlines
- Legal industry experience strongly preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and case management software (SmartAdvocate preferred)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
