Utility Sales (Inside Sales in Water Works)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Utility Sales professional to join our team and spearhead growth in our Water Works Division. This position is responsible for managing various established accounts as well as new business. You will be keying quotes, processing orders, coordinating deliveries, and creating fast and accurate takeoffs for potential jobs, along with answering customer inquiries.

Responsibilities:

· Keying quotes

· Process orders

· Assisting the walk-in customer base for the more urgent requests

· Schedule deliveries for a diverse customer base – both regular routes and job specific deliveries

· Take payments for orders

· Develop and execute account management plans to retain clients and upsell additional services or products.

· Answering phone calls and email requests from customers

· Communicate with the Sales Team on their accounts

· Create takeoffs based on customer requests. This includes using Plan Swift software and takeoffs done by hand.

· Assist in the purchase of department specific inventory

Requirements:

• Experience in plumbing or underground utilities (water works).
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and customer service skills to build lasting client relationships.
• Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

· Practices good housekeeping and keep neat, complete and understandable records.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
