Job Summary:
As our Walsworth - Ripon Bindery Supervisor, you will manage second shift Bindery Operations in a manner that maximizes productivity, meets scheduling requirements, minimizes costs and promotes a safe work environment, in accordance with company policies and procedures. The Bindery Supervisor manages a team of approximately 25 employees. The schedule for this position is 2:30 pm - 1 am, Monday - Thursday. If work requires, the Bindery Supervisor may be needed for part or all of the Friday shift between 1 pm and 9 pm.
Essential Functions:
- Prioritize, schedule and delegate work assignments and directly supervise the department functions to ensure maximum productivity and scheduling requirements are met at the minimum cost.
- Study, document, control and improve all manufacturing processes and procedures to achieve maximum productivity, minimum cost and scheduling requirements. Ensure documentation is easily understood.
- Manage manufacturing equipment through maintenance of existing equipment, establishing new equipment requirements, installation of new equipment, etc.
- Maintain a quality assurance system.
- Determine performance standards. Ensure employees understanding and compliance with performance standards through establishment of accountability for work. Complete performance appraisals and conduct coaching and counseling sessions.
- Ensure all safety and work rules and regulations are followed. Ensure departmental housekeeping standards.
- Work with other departments and divisions to accomplish company objectives.
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws.

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Business or a related field and experience in Manufacturing OR
- Associate degree in Business or a related field and two years of experience in Manufacturing OR
- High School Diploma or GED and four years of experience in Manufacturing.
- Preference for supervisory experience and printing experience.
- Must be willing and able to submit to and pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
