Full Time

WGI is seeking an UAS and Aerial Platform Logistical Engineer to join our team in Suffolk, VA. This position is contingent upon award.
 
Responsibilities: 

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee logistics movement via UAS and aerial platforms, ensuring compliance with safety and operational requirements.
• Perform weight and balance calculations for cargo and payloads to ensure proper distribution and flight safety.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to optimize loading procedures and platform performance.
• Provide technical expertise in logistics planning for aerial transport missions, including integration of new payloads and equipment.
• Support operational test and evaluation activities (including JT&E) to validate logistics concepts, performance, and system readiness.
• Ensure adherence to security protocols and requirements for TS/SCI-cleared operations. 

Qualifications:

 Required:  

• Background in logistics movement via UAS and/or aerial platforms, with hands-on experience in loading procedures.
• Demonstrated experience with logistics operations, specifically weight and balance planning and execution.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance (mandatory). 

Desired:  

• Previous experience with Joint Test & Evaluation (JT&E) or operational testing programs.
• Familiarity with DoD logistics processes and aerial platform operational constraints.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in fast-paced, mission-critical environments.
