Job Summary

Duties
- Hours for this position 7:00am to 5:30pm
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all areas of the facility
- Conduct detailed floor care procedures such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to maintain pristine surfaces
- Handle janitorial responsibilities for restrooms, kitchens, offices, and common areas ensuring they meet health and safety standards
- Assist with industrial cleaning projects that may involve high-pressure washing or specialized cleaning equipment
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting repairs needed for lighting, plumbing, or structural issues
- Use commercial cleaning tools and supplies efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
- Maintain cleanliness logs and report any safety hazards or maintenance concerns promptly
Qualifications
- Proven experience in custodial work or janitorial services with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing
- Experience with commercial or industrial cleaning environments preferred
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as buffers and floor scrubbers safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and climbing ladders if necessary
