Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team. The Meat Cutter will be responsible for preparing and cutting meat products for sale or consumption in a retail or wholesale environment.
Duties:
- Cut, trim, and prepare cuts of meat according to quality standards
- Package, weigh, and label meat products for sale
- Operate meat processing equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work area and equipment
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure freshness
- Follow food safety guidelines and regulations at all times
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food production, particularly in a kitchen or meat cutting setting
- Knowledge of meat cutting techniques, culinary skills, and food handling procedures
