What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adult Education Tutor (Edustaff) position at Walsh Community Education Center?
Position: Adult Education Tutor - Edustaff
Schedule: 5:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Monday – Thursday
Duration: School Year, approximately 34 weeks
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
- Communicate clearly and concisely to students, both orally and in writing
- Recognize variations in student backgrounds, abilities, and learning styles
- Ability to work with College and Career Readiness standards and readings
- Complete scoring rubric and assess understanding and comprehension
Responsibilities:
- Tutor adult students in English/Math and other subjects as needed
- Testing data and report analysis
- Interact in a friendly and patient manner with students of all levels of language proficiency
- Other duties as assigned by the Director
