Description:
Our client is currently seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position.
Responsibilities Include:
- Prepare accurate electrical takeoffs and detailed bid proposals from construction drawings and specifications.
- Attend pre-bid meetings and site walks as needed.
- Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes.
- Submit and track RFIs during the bidding process.
- Review project schedules, logistics, and labor requirements to develop competitive estimates.
- Prepare project turnover documents and lead kickoff meetings for awarded projects.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of electrical estimating experience required
- 5 years of electrical field experience required.
- Journeyman Electrician License required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and estimating software (ConEst or Accubid preferred).
- Basic AutoCAD knowledge preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
