Collections Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Secure payments from patients and manage collections.
• Address customer inquiries and make necessary adjustments.
• Analyze and interpret report data.
• Generate and distribute weekly and monthly company status reports.
• Prepare and send customer invoices.
• Review, collect, and appeal unpaid or underpaid claims.
• Process and respond to Explanation of Benefits (EOBs), denials, and rejected claims for assigned insurance carriers.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of billing and collections experience required.
• Experience in a healthcare setting is a plus but not required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Hours & Benefits:

• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (100% in-office)
