What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Receptionist position at Walpole Veterinary Hospital?
The Walpole Veterinary Hospital is a busy, full service small and large animal (except horses) facility. We are open 7:30-6:00 Monday, Thursday, and Friday, 7:30 to 7:00 Tuesday and Wednesday.
The receptionists are a vital part of our team that is committed to excellent patient and client care. The responsibilities include engaging customers promptly and cheerfully when they call, even when it's crazy busy. Honesty is vital because financials need to be closed out daily, attention to detail is a must.
Telephone skills, people skills, computer skills, administrative skills, and organizational skills are mandatory. The position is 40 hours, four 10 hour days and no weekends. Some flexibility is needed.
