Walpole Public Schools is seeking an Extended Day Site Coordinator for the morning and afternoon program at the elementary level. This position is Monday through Friday, split schedule hours from 6:45 to 9:00 am and 2:00 to 6:00 pm, 30 - 40 hours per week for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year.

Site Coordinator - Job Description
- Responsible for attendance and greeting each child.
- Responsible for phone calls if a child is absent from the program.
- Responsible for ensuring that all children are signed out before leaving the building.
- Responsible for greeting and interacting with parents at arrival and departure time (get to know their names and project kindness and care).
- Responsible for seeing to the welfare, health and safety of each child.
- Responsible for first aid kit and its maintenance.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining a positive staff culture that empowers our assistants and reflects the values of Extended Day.
- Appropriately documenting and reviewing staff payroll hours with the staff before submitting.
- Responsible for managing staff schedules and supervising all activities.
- Supervises assistant(s).
- Responsible for working with staff to clean room areas thoroughly. All material is to be returned to its original place.
- Supervises physical activities with children, such as sports, playground, gym, etc.
- Responsible for attending all staff meetings, workshops, in-house training and safety training. ? Inventory snacks and supplies.
- Responsible for tracking assistant absences and proactively reaching out for coverage support when needed.
- Responsible for daily incident logs.
- At all times the Site Coordinator must be aware of the position of the children as well as the well-being of each child.
- Site Coordinators must have updated CPR and First Aid Certification on file with the Director. Responsible for staff development and supervision.
Site Coordinators must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
Pay rate: $23.60-$33.35 commensurate with experience.
