At Walpole, our people are the heart of what we do. We’re looking for motivated individuals who bring their skills, are eager to learn, and want to grow with us. We’re looking for a skilled and motivated CNC Operator who’s ready to grow with us in a team-driven, hands-on environment.

The CNC Operator is responsible for safely loading and unloading raw materials, as well as setting up the necessary equipment and accessories for production. This role also involves calibrating tools and machinery in accordance with manufacturer specifications to ensure efficient and accurate operation throughout the production process.

Requirements

Job Duties

· Operate CNC machines and shaper saws to produce components and finished products

· Interpret and work from technical blueprints, models, and specifications

· Develop and machine parts with high precision

· Calibrate equipment per manufacturer guidelines

· Inspect CNC machine parts and computer systems for accuracy and function

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date worksheet logs

· Perform additional duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications

· Proven experience operating CNC machinery

· Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

· Manual dexterity and high accuracy in production

· Familiarity with precision measurement tools

· Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and documents

· Computer proficiency and basic knowledge of CAD/CAM systems

Physical Requirements

· Ability to walk and stand for extended periods

· Must have sufficient strength, balance, and stamina to complete physical tasks

· Must be able to lift, push, and carry 30–50 pounds

· Capable of working in varying environmental conditions (e.g., heat, cold)
