Part-Time Golf Course Maintenance – Bunker Crew
Walpole Country Club is looking to hire two high school or college students to join our Golf Course Maintenance Team for the remainder of the summer and through Thanksgiving.
This is a great opportunity for students who enjoy working outdoors and want to gain experience working at a private golf club.
Position
Part-Time Golf Course Maintenance – Bunker Crew
Schedule
- Start time: 6:00 AM
- Remainder of summer: Approximately 20 hours per week
- Once school begins: Approximately 8 hours per week, weekend mornings
- Position runs through Thanksgiving
Responsibilities
The primary responsibility will be golf course bunker maintenance, including:
- Raking and maintaining bunkers
- Edging and cleaning bunker faces
- Removing debris and leaves
- General bunker cleanup and maintenance
Qualifications
- High school or college student
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Able to start work at 6:00 AM
- Willing to work weekend mornings
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
- Previous golf course or landscaping experience is helpful but not required
This is a part-time seasonal position with approximately 20 hours per week for the next few weeks, transitioning to weekend mornings once school begins.
