What you will do
- Schedule interviews and communicate with candidates
- Prepare offer letters and onboarding documents
- Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding
- Maintain applicant tracking system records and employee files
- Track employee status changes
- Ensure compliance with record keeping requirements
- Assist with payroll processing and timekeeping audits
- Support benefits enrollment and changes
- Assist with audits, reporting and documentation
- Assist with investigations, documentation and follow-ups
- Support engagement initiatives and company events
- Assist leadership with data requests
- Support safety training coordination and documentation
- Greet and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Maintain visitor log and issue guest badges as needed
- Ensure lobby/front desk area is clean, organized and presentable
- Perform general clerical duties
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
What you will bring
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business or related field
- 1-3 years of HR or administrative experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Demonstrate experience using a high level of discretion and confidentiality
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and schedules
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment a plus
- Knowledge of payroll administration a plus

Work Environment
- Location-The HR Coordinator role is based onsite at our Columbus facility
- Physical Demand-May be required to lift moderately heavy automotive components up to 15 pounds
- Schedule-Monday thru Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, some overtime or weekends may be necessary
