Walnut Street Center, Inc is looking for a receptionist at our Medford location. This position requires a candidate with reception/front desk experience. This person serves as a greeter to all participants and guests, manages incoming and outgoing calls, entrance and gate access and general administrative support functions. Additionally, the position provides support to the People Department. This is a great opportunity for a candidate interested in learning about HR & Training.

Primary Responsibilities of Receptionist:
- Answer the telephone, determine the nature of the call and direct caller to the appropriate individual or department. Operate the paging and telephone system as required
- Maintain listing of work sites, program participants, emergency phone numbers, on-call phone numbers, department extensions, etc.
- Greet visitors and give directions and information to visitors, guests, residents, etc.
- Assist with administrative duties as directed (typing, filing, copying, organizing, etc.)
- Receive sort and distribute mail as directed
- Maintain confidentiality of all participant and employee information
- Light financial duties - logging checks, coordinating checks pickups, etc.
- Light IT duties - coordinating equipment setup such as guest passes, computers, emails, etc.
- Scheduling and coordinating meetings and other administrative tasks.
- An ideal candidate for this position will be highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects at once. Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and have excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Answer phones and direct calls to appropriate callers.
- Provide administrative assistance for the company.
- Use good judgment when dealing with participants, visitors, family, and co-workers.
- Demonstrate proper infection control measures.
- Work as part of a team.
- Operate office equipment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
