Position: Community Support Worker // Direct Support Professional
Locations: Bedford, MA
Salary: $20.60/Hour until fully trained, $21.63/Hour fully trained. We will train!
Scheduled Hours: M-F 8am-4pm

Who we are looking for:
Seeking qualified Direct Support Professionals to work full-time directly with adults with intellectual disabilities in our Day Program in Bedford, MA.
The Job Responsibilities:
- Assisting individuals with Activities of Daily Living such as feeding, dressing, toileting and other aspects of personal care, and nutritional needs
- Providing individuals with supports to ensure access to community activities
- Assisting with maintenance of environment
- Participating in the development, implementation, evaluation, and documentation of Individual Service Plan or Day Habilitation Plan goals which focus on building skills and increasing independence
- Providing therapeutic support and assisting in the implementation of Behavior Support Plans, if appropriate
- Transporting individuals
- Medication Administration
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to drive
- Ability to pass a driving and background check
- COVID-19 Vaccine Card
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to complete training both online and in person
Preferred:
- Previous human services or long-term care experience strongly preferred
- CNA/HHA/Community Support Worker experience preferred
- Associates or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
