Under the general supervision of the principal, The Library Media Specialist carries out all duties related to the library which include working with students, staff, and volunteers, managing the library collection and its computerized databases.

The Walnut Creek School District is located in Northern California in the Bay Area. We operate five K-5 neighborhood elementary schools (three with TK), one K-8 school, and one 6-8 intermediate school. Grades TK-5 are primarily self-contained, while grades 6-8 offer a mixture of core and elective classes. The district serves a population of approximately 3,600 students within the city of Walnut Creek.
