As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while accurately processing transactions. Responsibilities

• Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions with accuracy.
• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases.
• Process sales transactions efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Maintain an organized and clean checkout area.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints professionally.
• Ensure proper stock levels at the register and assist in restocking as needed.
• Communicate promotions and sales to customers effectively.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance overall store operations.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers.
• Experience in retail sales, particularly in a grocery store setting, is preferred.
• Proficiency in basic math and retail math for accurate transaction processing.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a broader customer base.
• A positive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
