In this role, you will provide hearing evaluations, tinnitus evaluations, vestibular evaluations, hearing aid fittings, and APD evaluations. Duties
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations of hearing and balance functions using advanced audiological equipment
- Perform comprehensive assessments for patients age 4
- Develop personalized treatment plans, including fitting hearing aids and assistive listening devices
- Educate patients and their families on hearing health, device usage, and maintenance to ensure optimal outcomes
- Maintain accurate patient records and send reports in a timely manner to referral sources.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills by addressing patient concerns with empathy and professionalism
Requirements
- Doctorate (AuD/PhD) or Master’s degree in Audiology from an accredited program
- Valid licensure as a dispensing Audiologist in California
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to audiology
- Proficiency in diagnostic evaluation techniques and aseptic procedures during device fittings or procedures
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple patient appointments efficiently
- Competent computer skills with familiarity in hearing aid fitting software, Computerized audiometry
- Outstanding communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Leadership qualities that foster teamwork and guide junior staff or interns when necessary
Pay: $57.26 - $72.11 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
