Experienced Neuropsychological Rater
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Neuropsychological Rater to support Alzheimer’s disease and other neurodegenerative clinical trials. The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree in psychology or a related field, previous experience conducting standardized cognitive and behavioral assessments in a clinical research setting, and availability to work several days per week.
This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to administer assessments consistently in accordance with study protocols and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
Responsibilities
- Administer and score protocol-specific neuropsychological and behavioral assessments.
- Conduct participant evaluations according to sponsor and protocol requirements.
- Ensure accurate, timely, and complete documentation of all assessments.
- Maintain participant confidentiality and adhere to GCP, FDA, and site SOPs.
- Collaborate with investigators, coordinators, and sponsors to support study execution.
- Participate in sponsor-required training and maintain rater certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree, PsyD, PhD, MD, or other advanced degree in Psychology, Neuropsychology, Neuroscience, Psychiatry, or a related healthcare field.
- Previous experience as a neuropsychological or clinical trial rater preferred.
- Availability to work multiple days per week.
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Ability to establish rapport with older adults, caregivers, and study participants.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, or other neurodegenerative clinical trials.
- Current GCP certification.
- Experience working in a clinical research environment under ICH-GCP guidelines.
