This position is responsible for the operation of a department. An individual in this position will be expected to perform additional job related responsibilities and duties as assigned and/or necessary.

Oversees daily pharmacy operations to ensure efficient workflow and compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Directs and delegates non-clinical tasks to pharmacy support personnel, ensuring timely completion and accountability. Manages pharmacy scheduling, inventory flow, and resource allocation to support business objectives.
Champions new technology and process rollouts, coaching the team through change and operational challenges.
Leads hiring, onboarding, training, and scheduling of pharmacy support personnel. Conducts performance evaluations, provides coaching, and makes decisions regarding discipline and termination in alignment with company policies and procedures.
Monitors licensure and certification compliance for all pharmacy team members. Fosters a culture of feedback, collaboration, and accountability to drive team performance and adaptability.
Engages patients and customers by providing support at drop-off windows, assisting with OTC product selection, and resolving non-clinical inquiries. Models and promotes customer service best practices to enhance the pharmacy experience.
Supports healthcare service offerings under pharmacist supervision, including vaccine administration and health screenings where permitted. Analyzes workflow trends and recommends process enhancements to improve operational quality.
Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales.
Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities.
