About the team:

Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS) Technology delivers scalable fulfillment solutions for third-party sellers by integrating transportation, inventory, warehouse operations, billing, and delivery. The team connects Marketplace with Walmart’s supply chain, collaborating closely with Product, Business, Operations, Supply Chain, and Transportation partners. Combining the agility of a growth business with the scale of a global retailer, the team drives innovation and expands fulfillment capabilities into new models and international markets. This environment emphasizes technical excellence and cross-functional collaboration to develop impactful solutions that enhance the seller fulfillment experience.

What you'll do:

• Be a deeply hands-on technical leader, write production-quality code, build automated tests, and take implementations all the way production deployment.
• Lead design and development of scalable, cloud-native AI-powered software systems and intelligent automation solutions.
• Translate domain-level strategies into system-level implementations, ensuring architectural integrity and reliability.
• Drive operational excellence through technical guidance, code reviews, and strategic architectural decisions.
• Champion DevOps and CI/CD practices to ensure resilient, observable, and performant services.
• Mentor engineers across teams, fostering a culture of innovation, high standards, and continuous learning.
• Identify and resolve architectural bottlenecks, automate manual processes, and improve developer experience.
• Collaborate effectively across teams, communicating complex technical concepts clearly to stakeholders.

What you'll bring:

• Demonstrated hands-on coding expertise with strong current coding practice, and the ability and willingness to own deep, end-to-end implementation, from detailed design and production code through automated quality, production deployment.
• Extensive experience leading the design and development of scalable, cloud-native software systems and AI-powered solutions.
• Strong expertise in operational excellence, including DevOps, CI/CD, observability, and incident management.
• Demonstrated skill in driving continuous improvement by identifying bottlenecks and automating manual processes.
• Exceptional problem-solving and debugging capabilities with a focus on platform design and development.
• Effective collaboration and mentorship skills to foster engineering excellence across teams.
• Sound technical judgment with adaptability to evolving technologies and business needs.

The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00 - $260,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
