Position Summary...We are searching for a motivated Staff, Solution Consultant (mid-senior IC) to join our dynamic team. The Solution consultant has a clear understanding of the components of the Walmart Data Ventures technical products and demonstrate how they work. Your responsibilities will include understanding the needs of the customer, demonstrating products, and applying technical product knowledge to help clients. To be a successful Solution Consultant, you will develop an excellent rapport with your existing customers, prospects, and internal organizational partners through technical knowledge, presentation skills, and operational excellence. A top-notch candidate should be knowledgeable about competing products and should have the ability to break down technical terminology to non-technical clients. This associate will report to the Manager, Solution Consulting.About Walmart Data VenturesWalmart Data Ventures (WDV) is focused on productizing Walmart’s rich data assets to better serve customers and provide data products that deliver actionable, customer-centric insights to help merchants and brands make better decisions.

- You will lead technical demonstrations of retail insights data solutions.
- You will establish the technical needs of the customer and suggest appropriate products.
- You will lead discovery conversations of complex technical information to customers in a way that is easily understandable.
- You will provide technical expertise to support proposal responses and reports related to technical products.
- You will ensure that sales targets are consistently met.
- You will establish technical sales process and reporting to facilitate role growth.
- You will update records of customer communications and contact information within org-defined CRM tool.
- You will be curious about technical solutions and self-starter across activity and learning beyond industry-leading onboarding materials provided.
- A bachelor’s degree in IT, business, a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3-8 years of technical selling experience.
- Retail Data industry experience.
- Technical knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of retail data solutions.
- Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects.
- The ability to work with internal partners such as sales and product teams.
- Skills in selling products and closing deals.
- Knowledge of modern SaaS UI, API, and Data solution technology.
- Experience in conducting presentations to internal and external partners.
- Experience executing consistently and leading process improvement projects.
- A valid driver’s license and a willingness to travel when needed.
- Ability to be in office 5 days a week in Bentonville, Arkansas.
