Job duties incl but not limited to enhancing network security infrastructure by monitoring network performance via available network tools. Master's or equiv in CS, IT, Eng'g or rel. fld; OR Bachelor's or equiv in CS, IT, Eng'g or rel. fld 2 yrs of exp in IT or rel. exp. Skills req'd incl but not limited to exp w/: Deploying & tuning IDS/IPS solutions like Snort, Suricata, or Palo Alto Threat Prevention, monitoring & analyzing network traffic for malicious activities, applying encryption, data loss prevention (DLP), & access control measures to protect sensitive data; Mng'g, configuring, & optimizing firewalls such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Check Point, implementing firewall rules, NAT policies, & VPN configurations; Leading security projs using Agile, Scrum, or PMP methodologies, coordinating w/ IT, security, & bus. teams to ensure network security alignment.
