Wally's Wine & Spirits is seeking a warm, polished, and guest-focused Host to create a welcoming first impression for every guest who walks through our doors. What You'll Do
- Welcome guests with genuine warmth and professionalism.
- Manage reservations, waitlists, seating flow, and guest pacing to support a smooth dining experience.
- Communicate guest needs and important details to servers, management, wine specialists, and support teams.
- Assist with VIP guests, special requests, and front-door hospitality standards.
- Guide guests to retail, wine, cheese, or dining areas as needed.
- Support takeout orders, phone inquiries, and guest communication with accuracy and care.
- Help maintain a polished, organized, and inviting front-of-house environment.
What We're Looking For
- Previous host, restaurant, retail, or hospitality experience preferred.
- A warm, professional presence and a passion for exceptional guest service.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to stay calm in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of restaurant operations, reservations, and POS systems.
- A collaborative, team-oriented approach.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move comfortably throughout the shift.
