Job Overview
5 years delivering quality landscaping to the Lake Country Area, we are seeking a motivated and reliable Crew Member to join our team at Wally's Landscape Co. This role involves working outdoors on various projects, including but not limited to lawn care, landscape maintenance, hardscaping, and snow plowing. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work, possess basic mechanical knowledge, and be eager to learn or expand on skills within landscaping. Duties
- Assist with landscape maintenance projects including planting, mulching, trimming/pruning, spring/fall cleanups.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as excavators/skid steers
- Support construction projects involving hardscape installation like patios or walkways
- Maintain gardens by weeding, watering, fertilizing, and overall plant care
- Assist with snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access for clients
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and safety inspections
- Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, and trimming to maintain healthy and attractive landscapes
Qualifications
- Basic mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment and tools
- Experience or familiarity with lawn care, gardening, or landscape maintenance preferred
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery
- Knowledge of horticulture principles and plant care techniques is desirable
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Good physical stamina for lifting, digging, raking, and standing for extended periods
- Ability to follow safety protocols and work effectively as part of a team
- Prior experience in construction or snow plowing is advantageous but not required
This position is ideal for individuals passionate about outdoor work who want to gain practical experience within all avenues of landscaping. All roles are paid positions and starting pay is dependent on experience.
Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 45 per week
