Field Service Technician

Wallwork Truck Center | Starting at $40 per hour, based on experience

Take your diesel repair skills on the road. As a Field Service Technician, you’ll diagnose and repair heavy-duty trucks wherever the work takes you, whether that’s over the road, at a customer location, or on a worksite. You’ll manage your work independently and support the branch shop when needed.

What you’ll do

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, fuel, emissions, brake, steering, and hydraulic issues
• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, component replacements, and test drives
• Communicate repair findings clearly with customers and your supporting branch
• Keep accurate service records and maintain your service truck, tools, and parts inventory
• Respond to service needs while on call and assist in the shop as workload changes

What you’ll bring

• At least five years of diesel technician experience
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Strong diagnostic skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with little supervision
• A Class B or higher CDL is preferred but not required
