Cashier/Stocker

Overview

We are a local grocery store specializing in authentic Polish products!
We are looking for a Cashier/Stocker to join our team.
No prior retail experience is required—we provide full training.

In this role, you will be the friendly face welcoming our customers, handling sales transactions, and keeping our shelves beautifully stocked. If you are detail-oriented, eager to learn, and love helping people, we want to hear from you!

Duties & Responsibilities

• Welcome customers, assist them in finding products, and provide excellent service with a friendly attitude.
• Operate a traditional cash register efficiently to handle retail transactions accurately.
• Ring up grocery items and memorize prices for our produce selection.
• Maintain a clean, organized sales floor by stocking shelves, merchandising products attractively, and cleaning aisles when necessary.
• Check expiration dates regularly and remove expired products from the shelves to ensure inventory freshness.
• Utilize a price sticker gun to accurately price newly delivered goods, ensuring prices reflect our store's markup.

Qualifications

• No Experience Needed: Willingness to learn; we provide comprehensive on-the-job training.
• Familiarity with a traditional manual cash register is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to learn, memorize, and adapt to changing produce prices within your first few months.
• Bilingual in Polish and English is highly preferred, but not required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, stoop or kneel to stock lower shelves, and safely lift 30 to 50 pounds.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
