Responsibilities
- Food preparation, including chopping, assembling, and plating dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Handle food safely by following proper hygiene and sanitation procedures in compliance with food safety regulations
- Cooking dishes by following instructions from kitchen supervisor
- Manage food handling duties efficiently while maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Operate POS system for order processing when needed
- Maintain open communication with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and customer service excellence
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is a plus, but will train the right person
- Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices
- Experience with food preparation and cooking
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Willingness to learn new skills related to food safety, serving techniques, and kitchen operations
- Ability to multi-task efficiently
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
