What are the responsibilities and job description for the Flower Shop Assistant position at Wallenpaupack Floral and Gifts?
Looking for an energetic assistant to aid in the day-to-day operations for our flower shop.
No floral experience is needed. This is a 1099 position.
Must be over 25 years old (for the purpose of shop van insurance)
Must be able to lift 25-30 lbs and able to stand for long periods of time.
Job tasks can include (but are not limited to):
- Prepping flowers
- Cleaning buckets
- Organizing merchandise
- Inspecting new products
- Greening up vases, baskets, sprays, etc.
- Planting
- Watering plants
- Writing Cards
- Answering phones
- Taking orders
- Running credit cards
- Cleaning
- Running Arrands
- Arranging
- Driving the van if needed
Pay: From $10.00 per hour
