Job Description
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Safely load/unload construction parts to/from trailers using light and/or heavy forklift
- Unload equipment parts from containers, flatbeds and trailers
- Operate various construction equipment to accomplish receiving and shipping responsibilities
- Scale all loads that are pre-loaded for drivers including gross weight, axle weights, and axle groups, and verify road worthiness of trailer
- Operate hand tools regularly used in loading or yard activity such as banding machines, air wrenches and hammers, or other commonly used hand tools
Job Requirements
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Ability to complete a full workday walking and/or standing in all reasonable weather conditions
- Ability to be certified on light and heavy forklifts
- Steel-toed boots/shoes
- Have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
