Experienced Estate Administration Paralegal
Wallace & Wallace, LLP is seeking a full-time, experienced Estate Administration Paralegal to join our busy Trusts and Estates practice. This position is ideal for a knowledgeable and organized professional who enjoys guiding families through the estate administration process with compassion, professionalism, and attention to detail.
The successful candidate will manage probate and estate administration matters from inception through closing, working closely with attorneys, fiduciaries, beneficiaries, the Surrogate's Court, financial institutions, and other professionals. Responsibilities include preparing and filing probate and administration petitions, assisting with the collection and distribution of estate assets, preparing fiduciary accountings and related documents, communicating with clients, and ensuring all matters are handled efficiently and within applicable deadlines.
Candidates should have substantial experience handling New York estate administration matters, be highly organized, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Experience with NYSCEF, Surrogate's Court procedures, and HotDocs is preferred.
