Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site Accountant role located in Grand Bay, AL. The Accountant will be responsible for preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Tasks include bookkeeping, analyzing financial data, and maintaining accurate financial records. The Accountant will also provide support during audits and assist in financial decision-making through thorough and accurate reporting.
Qualifications
- Strong Accounting and Bookkeeping skills, including attention to detail and financial data accuracy.
- Experience with Financial Reporting and Budget Management.
- Proficiency in using Accounting Software and tools such as QuickBooks or similar platforms.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking abilities, and financial decision-making skills.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification is preferred.
- Knowledge of current accounting standards, regulations, and best practices is an advantage.
