What are the responsibilities and job description for the Locksmith position at WALLACE SAFE & LOCK CO INC?
Family-owned locksmith business in downtown Woodland is looking for a hardworking, long-term employee. Minimum 1 year of experience as a locksmith or similar mechanical abilities.
Must be willing to be fingerprinted and background checked upon being hired. A Locksmith license is not required to be hired but will need to be acquired within 90 days of being hired. A California driver's license is required.
Able to lift at least 50 lbs., open to learning new skills, courteous and friendly, able to speak, read & write English, trustworthy, self-starter, basic computer skills, basic tool knowledge.
Duties include but are not limited to duplicating keys, fitting keys to locks, rekey locks, cleaning key machines, service calls to residential and commercial facilities, cleaning the shop, operating the cash register and credit card machine, answering phones, researching on the computer, delivery, and installation of safes.
Benefits available after 30 days include medical, dental, vision, 401K investing, PTO 10 days a year for the first 2 years, after that 15 days of PTO.
