What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Civil Designer - Site & Civil Services position at Wallace Montgomery?
Wallace Montgomery is seeking experienced senior level Site & Civil designer to join our dynamic team. In this role you will be a part of a multi-disciplinary team focusing on site/civil projects with clients within the Mid-Atlantic region.
Essential Functions:
- Supervise activities of multiple project managers, project teams and subconsultants.
- Manage projects, including development of design & preparation of plans, specs & estimates.
- Technical management of projects including monitoring schedules and budgets and implementing corrective actions.
- Financial management of on-call and other contracts and individual task assignments/projects. Duties include invoice review and facilitating corrective measures such as Task Order Modifications (TOMs), Extra Work Orders (EWOs), transfers, etc.
- Facilitate coordination across technical disciplines within the firm.
- Implement quality control/quality assurance reviews.
- Provide primary liaison with clients.
- Participation in the procurement of work opportunities.
- Provide service in professional societies and attend meetings.
- Serve as a mentor for young professionals.
- Support development of firm policies, standards, vision, and mission.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:
- Site & Civil Engineering Experience
- Experience with private and public agency projects in Delaware with specific emphasis on Site Design
- Experience preparing task proposals
- AutoCAD experience
