Role Description: This is a full-time Financial Advisor role based in Lexington, KY. The Financial Advisor will meet with clients regularly to assess their financial goals, analyze their current financial situation, and develop customized financial and retirement plans. Daily responsibilities include reviewing portfolios, monitoring investments, and making recommendations aligned with each client’s risk tolerance and long-term objectives. The role involves preparing financial plans and reports, explaining complex financial concepts clearly, and maintaining detailed client records and compliance documentation. The Financial Advisor will also support business development by following up on leads, building long-term client relationships, and collaborating with internal team members to deliver a consistent, high-quality client experience.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Financial Planning and Retirement Planning, with the ability to create comprehensive, goals-based plans tailored to individual client needs.
- Solid foundation in Finance and Investments, including understanding of asset allocation, risk management, and portfolio construction.
- Demonstrated experience in Financial Advisory, providing objective guidance and ongoing support to a diverse client base.
- Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex topics in an accessible language.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; advanced credentials such as CFP®, CFA®, or progress toward such designations are preferred.
- High ethical standards, sound judgment, and a commitment to acting in the client’s best interest at all times.
- Proficiency with financial planning software, CRM systems, and standard office productivity tools.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, manage time independently, and collaborate with colleagues in a team-based setting.
