We are looking to add a Heidelberg Speedmaster XL 106 Second Pressman to our team. The Second Pressman plays a key role in producing high-quality printed products by assisting the Pressman with press setup, operation, quality control, and maintenance while ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

We are looking to add a Heidelberg Speedmaster XL 106 Second Pressman to our team. The Second Pressman plays a key role in producing high-quality printed products by assisting the Pressman with press setup, operation, quality control, and maintenance while ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Pressman with press make-readies and production runs.
- Load paper and verify the correct stock before each job.
- Monitor ink, coating, and fountain solution levels.
- Perform quality checks throughout the run to ensure customer specifications are met.
- Help maintain proper registration, color consistency, and print quality.
- Assist with washups, blanket changes, and routine maintenance.
- Keep the press area clean and organized using 5S principles.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Work closely with Prepress, Scheduling, and Bindery to ensure smooth job flow.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
- Printing experience is preferred but not required.
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Positive attitude, dependable attendance, and strong teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Heidelberg XL 106 or sheetfed offset press experience.
- Knowledge of paper handling and print quality standards.
- Basic understanding of preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
