Requirements
Job Requirements:
- Maintain applicant data in recruiting database of the HRIS system
- Source and recruit candidates using databases, social media, networking events, etc.
- Post jobs ads on the company’s website, social media sites, and relevant job boards
- Assess applicant’s relevant knowledge, technical skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes
- Evaluate and screen candidate resumes and job applications
- Reach out to passive candidates and build relationships with potential candidates
- Join social media groups and professional networks to interact with potential candidates
- Use Boolean search techniques to source candidates
- Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the screening process
- Interview candidates, evaluate candidate’s skills, knowledge and experience, and make recommendations to hiring managers
- Understand employee benefits and promote the benefits to prospective employees
- Understand the WDC hiring process (refer to the Hiring Process Document)
- Conduct background and reference checks
- Work with hiring managers to identify staffing needs
- Assist in the onboarding process and follow up with candidates and new hires
- Promote the referral program to current employees to obtain potential candidates
- Coordinate job fairs for the organization
- Attend job fairs and organize career events
- Promote firm’s reputation as a “Best Place to Work.”
- Demonstrate continued and progressive knowledge of recruiting tasks and approaches appropriate for an engineering firm
- Work with Director of HR and company leaders to improve the efficiency of the firm’s talent sourcing processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Networking skills and ability to build strong relationships
- Knowledge of databases, social media platforms, recruiting platforms and search techniques
- Knowledge of Boolean search technique.
- Proficiency in using the Microsoft Suite of products
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects at one time
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
