Job Summary The accountant will manage the day-to-day financial operations of the clinic, including general ledger management, financial reporting, budgeting support, and reconciliation activities. This position plays a key role in ensuring the clinic’s financial health and compliance with regulatory and internal standards. This position reports to the Finance Director. Role and Responsibilities: · Manage and maintain accurate general ledger accounts. · Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. · Reconcile bank accounts, vendor statements, and internal accounts. · Support payroll processing and related reporting (in collaboration with HR or Payroll vendors). · Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial planning. · Ensure compliance with GAAP and healthcare-specific financial regulations. · Prepare documentation for internal and external audits, including tax filings. · Implement and improve internal financial controls and procedures. · Assist with software transitions, upgrades, or integration (e.g., EMR and accounting systems). · Prepare B&O tax filings.
